Sorry I have't been around a hell of a lot lately, but back in May I had some health issues that required some minor surgery and a recovery period. Other than that, life in general has just been busy busy busy (Especially work), which hasn't afforded me a heck of a lot of free time lately. Sorry about that. So if you've looking at the front page reading this, you've doubtlessly noticed that there's been a couple changes to the main page here. Namely I've scuttled the links to the mailing list, letter bag, and Bizarro Mail. I haven't had anything worth sending out in the mailing list for months now, nor have I had time to do a letters page in ages. That and "Bizarro" hasn't been with us in a while now, so I figured it was time to remove some dead wood. If you're really desperate to read them, you can still find the links to them on the old updates page. I'll keep them on the site, but I'm no longer going to be actively linking to them anymore.
Other than that, I just want to let everyone know that I'll be heading out on vacation soon, so prepare for another two week hiatus from updates until I get back from camping. Peace out folks. |

Well whaddya know, there's actually news to report this week!
- As you might have noticed last week, the site was unfortunately hacked. Among other things we found was that there was a virus on the main page, all the images were disabled, and there are added links on quite a few pages. Unfortunately, due to the really archaic and ass-backwards way I run this site, this might take me a couple days to fix. Not because it's too complicated, but because it'll probably require me to give up some free time that I just don't have to give it at the moment. I will take care of it though. - I'm planning on streamlining the operation I've got going here and cutting out some the excess fat. This will probably mean ditching the mailbag section (Which, while one of my favorite parts, is by far the most time consuming), and probably consolidating the recent additions page as well as this one to main page. I'm gonna have to go in to almost all the pages anyway for a new advertising deal, so I figure I might as well give other things a tune up too. - Superdickery is just about one year old now, hot damn! Frankly I didn't know if it would last this long, but apparently for something that started off as a viral meme, this thing's got legs. Big special thanks to everyone out there who has made this site what it is today. You all rock. That's about all the pertinent information that comes to mind at the moment... More as things develop. |
